Our caregivers are qualified professionals with backgrounds in early childhood education. They are experienced, CPR/First Aid certified, and undergo regular training to enhance their skills.

Owner and CEO
My name is Rachel Chaisson and I am the owner and CEO of A Joyful Noise Preschool. I am the mom of three wonderful children. In my free time I love to do yoga, spend time at camp and do anything active outdoors. I enjoy hiking and traveling.
Caitlin Stevens,
Chief Administrative Officer
Caitlin has been part of A Joyful Noise since 2013, where she helped establish the school’s infant and toddler programs. After taking time away during the COVID-19 pandemic to focus on her family, she returned in 2023 and now serves as Chief Administrative Officer.
Rachel Stinson,
Regional Director
My name is Rachel Stinson and I am the Director of A Joyful Noise Preschool York Street with a specialty in new student enrollment and family support. I am the mom of two boys who you will see helping out at the preschool occasionally. I love yoga, the beach, going to camp and generally enjoying summers in Maine. In the winter you can find me chauffeuring the boys to the mountains to ski and snowboard, but you’ll find me reading in the lounge instead!

My name is Jess Brooks, and I am Assistant Director and preschool teacher at our York Street School! I have been part of the A Joyful Noise family for 3 years, but have been teaching long before that. I have my Child Development Associate Credential and have a passion for learning new skills and building my education to help support the littles in my class everyday.
I live in Alfred with my husband and 5 year old daughter. She has been attending AJN and is almost ready to spread her wings off to Kindergarten. We both grew up in Kennebunk and our heart is here in the community. During my free time, I love yoga, the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Hi, my name is Megan. I’m the York Street Junior Kindergarten Teacher. I have been part of our work family for over a year and have recently earned my CDA and have taken the Preschool MELDS. I love watching children learn and grow independently throughout the year. During my spare time, I love arts, crafts, reading, and anything outdoorsy with my fiancé.

Hello, my name is Bryanna. Most people call me Bry. I am a Toddler Town teacher at York St. I’ve been in the field of Early Childhood for over 4 years. I have two wonderful kiddos named Octavia and Killian. My favorite color is pink and I love owls. I can’t wait to meet your little in my class.
Kayla
Hello, my name is Kayla Conley and I’m very excited to be your Pre-K teacher at York Street. I have worked with children for over 6 years and most recently this past year, I have been able to complete my CDA Credential and I’m very excited to keep learning. On my spare time, I love spending time with my dog, Paisley, going to the beach, kayaking and taking pictures.

Hello, my name is Kim. I’m a Waddler Teacher at York Street. I have been with AJN for over a year. I have also spent some time nannying and hanging out with my own siblings. I love watching children grow, learn how to communicate, move around independently, play along with peers, and most importantly smile when they succeed. Outside of work, I love reading and spending time with my two dogs Dakota and Lorenzo.

Hello, my name is Morgan. I am a Lead Infant Teacher at our York Street school. I graduated from York County Community College in 2015, where I got my associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in childcare since 2015. In my free time I enjoy being outside and scrap booking.

Hi, my name is Rose! I’m the infant teacher at York Street. I knew from a young age that my purpose was to work with children and teaching is for sure my passion. I have recently finished my CDA credential and want to continue learning in the field of Early Childhood Education. I grew up in Kennebunk and love anything that has to do with the outdoors, especially hiking.

Hi, I’m Rockie, one of the teachers in Toddler Town at York Street. I’ve been with A Joyful Noise for a wonderful year. I value creativity and self expression. In my free time, I enjoy playing games and spending time with my adorable cat, Tater Tot.

Hi, my name is Sam and I am the Preschool Teacher at York Street. I strive to provide a safe, healthy, and happy learning environment by keeping up to date with ongoing trainings. I currently hold my CDA and MELDS. When I’m not working, you can find me walking through the woods, making many arts and crafts, and spending time with my 5 children. I cannot wait to dive deep into the school year and learn alongside your children.
